Welcome to Baptist Hill Middle/High School
The year is quickly coming to an end, but there is still so much work to do. I am elated to be a part of a great school and community. As a result of our students’ achievement in 2012, BHMHS received a Palmetto Silver Award from the State Department of Education.
Our SCHOLARS are EXCELLING! Please tell your friends and family that BHMHS is a great choice for their middle and high school students. Currently, we are making plans for the 2013-2014 school year, and we are expanding our school options. Some of the ideas that are being explored and solidified are the following:
For middle school scholars:
Opportunity for HS credits in Algebra I, ELA I and Computer/Business
Applications

Marching Band
Leadership & Career Exploration
For high school scholars:
Barbering I and II with SC State Licensure
Advanced Placement Calculus
Psychology
Sociology
Virtual School Classes such as Criminal Justice, Public Safety, Health Sciences and SAT Prep.
Ongoing communication is essential for monitoring and maintaining high expectations for our students. Therefore, we value your partnership in this important component of our school. Please note some important reminders:
- Contact Ms. Chaplin, Data Clerk, if you do not have access to the web-based parent portal system.
- Parents are encouraged to stop by and visit with their child. Please bring your photo ID.
- Students are expected to be at school at 6:45 a.m.
- 24 Credits + HSAP = Graduation.
