My name is Ebony Trapp-Brown and this is my second year Baptist Hill. I am a graduate of Trident Technical College and the College of Charleston. I have been teaching for six years with most of that time being at another school in the North Charleston area.
I was born in Charleston, South Carolina but I did not grow up here due to being the child of a military service member. I have lived along the East Coast and had the opportunity to interact with people from all over the world due to that experience. I have two children and one grandchild that I absolutely adore.
Each year, my goal is to push myself harder than the year before, so that I can push my students to reach their fullest potential. This year, I plan to help our students explore and become fluent in writing and communication skills as well as help them to increase their reading abilities and become more confident in the area of English, as I guide them through the process.
I am grateful that I have been chosen to teach your children and I look forward to meeting and interacting with you throughout the school year.
"Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it."
