Individual Graduation Plan

All students in 8th-12th grade and their parents or legal guardians are required by the Education
and Economic Development Act (EEDA) to meet with their School Counselor to develop and annually update an Individual Graduation Plan (IGP). IGPs allow students to identify their post-graduation goals and support them with academic course selection. During the 30 minute IGP conference, students and parents identify post-graduation goals based on the educational requirements of their chosen career path. We will continue to help your child explore his/her career interests through their middle and high school experience. IGP conferences can be scheduled two ways:

1. IGP conferences may be scheduled through email or telephone. When emailing your
student’s school counselor please be sure to include your student’s first and last name in the body of the email.

2. For parents and guardians who choose to schedule their IGP conference by telephone please contact us at (843) 889-2276 between the hours of 8AM and 2PM, Monday
through Friday.

Finally, if you’re unable to attend the IGP conference, you may designate someone to represent you by completing the information below and returning it to Baptist Hill’s Guidance Department. We look forward to seeing each of you and appreciate your time and involvement with your child’s future planning!
